I'm Jill, a recovering perfectionist with a passion for wellness. I hope this space will refresh your soul and engage your mind to living your best life daily. God created each of us for a purpose and while we may never be perfect, we can choose to be well.
Knowing that no one is perfect didn't stop me from trying . . . for a long time. This mindset impacted my life, wellness, and everyone around me. But God doesn't love us because we are perfect, He loves us simply because we are.
As a former ICU nurse, family caregiver, and founder of MemoryMinders, I've witnessed how soul and mind wellness impact our entire lives. I believe wellness is rooted in our soul and directed by our mind. A settled soul and engaged mind form a foundation for wellness. With this foundation, we understand wellness isn't about perfectionism. It's about living our best life daily.
On a personal note, I love dark chocolate, being by water and with my people. Cooking, cheering on our children, and golfing (when my back cooperates) bring me joy. I fill up my bucket with music, reading, writing, and seeing God in the world around me.
My passion for mind wellness led me to found MemoryMinders in 2010 to educate and facilitate learning about memory wellness. At our local church, I've served in children's ministry, local and international outreaches, and currently mentor our MOPS group.
If you're ready to let go of perfection and be well, please join me. Let's refresh our souls and engage our minds to live the lives God desires for us.
